I had no direct information focusing on the number of males and females per zip code. After more searching I was able to locate the numbers for gender by race so I decided to see if they correlated. I decided to focus on how gender and race together correlated with the AIDS rate.

At a 99% confidence interval, the percentage of, white males, white females, black males, and black females all correlated with the AIDS rate. The correlation coefficients were as follows: white males, negative at -0.489685; white females, also negative at -0.574806; black males, positive at 0.532843; and black females, also positive at 0.510628. This may be due to the fact that the AIDS rate is high within the black community.
