This map depicts the percentage of the White population enrolled in grades K-12. When compared the the map of the AIDS Rates data, it is clear the there is a negative correlation between these two variables. One additional factor to consider is the age of these individuals, and they are not all at the age to engage in risky behavior that may lead to AIDS.
