               At the end of my investigation I feel much more enlightened about the issue. My estimation of 20,000 cumulative AIDS cases doesn’t seem so outrageous now considering past factors.  I was able to analyze the issue from three different perspectives to generate my own personal opinion on the subject. Again, whether or not Onondaga County has a problem depends on the level you are looking at the issue from. The most influential part was digging into my Hispanic roots to explore the Hispanic perspective on the matter. Though I have only learned about the impact AIDS epidemic in my hometown, it is a firm step in the proper direction to understanding the AIDS epidemic as a whole.
