Education is a significant resource necessary for all individuals in a social construction because it provides access to acquiring higher standards of living. Lacking this essential component would completely affect the options available to individuals under the circumstance. Significant correlations were made with the AIDS rates versus the amount of education obtained by individuals. Both the percent of Males and Females with some form of education discontinued throughout their lives correlated positively to the AIDS rates (Refer to scatter plot 14 &15). This could have possibly occurred because they did not obtain a full degree at any level of schooling which prevented them from advancing to higher institutions.
