It is often perceived that the amount of wealth in an area is closely related to the AIDS rates. While examining the correlations of the loans per 1,000 housing units [0.751] and the percent annual change in median price of housing [0.539] one might believe that they do have a relationship. This is not surprising because while the price changes of housing varies, so does the economic status of the 8 Wards. Also, the correlation between the percent of people that own their home and the AIDS rate is [-0.4659] [Table 8]. This allows us to believe that there is no significance in the relationship between the AIDS rate and home owners.

Poverty is often related to poor health care, lack of education and improper living conditions. Poor education and poor health service can increase the AIDS rate in that area or ward. The district's high AIDS incidence rate is associated with the city's high rate of people in poverty and has a positive correlation of 0.2856. Ward 3 has a 7.5% poverty rate which is extremely low when compared to Ward 8 which has a 36% poverty rate. The percent of Children in Poverty has a correlation of [0.4697] [Table 8] which is almost double the correlation of the poverty rate. The percent unemployment rate has a negative correlation of [-0.2734] which concludes that there is no relationship between the unemployment rate and the AIDS rate.  Without education had proper health care, people will not be warned of the causes and affects of AIDS on there body and how they can help to prevent it.
