Next, I looked at education.  I didn’t think that there would any relation between education and AIDS rates because I could find hardly for income.  Generally, I associate the low income population with low education, which would lead to no correlations again.  To my dismay, I was mistaken by this misconception.  I looked at two education categories.  Firstly, the population of males over 25 years old with no schooling completed correlates with a +0.4065, which makes the p-value .025 to .01.  Therefore, I have about a 97% confidence level that we can conclude that there is relationship between male adults with no schooling completed and AIDS rates.  An explanation may be that the Adult males learned of the importance and precautions one must take with risky AIDS behavior.  Surprisingly, the adult females with no school completed do not correlate with the AIDS rates.  The correlation for this population is -0.2899, which does not allow us to give any conclusions because the p-value is too high.  I think the positive correlation also exists because the adult males who reside in the Otisville prison may not have had the opportunity to complete their schooling.  The same pattern occurred, when I calculated adults who completed twelfth grade, but received no diploma.  The populations of adult males, who completed twelfth grade, but did not receive have a correlation of +0.5088, and the adult females have a correlation of -0.1184.  Again, the males correlate and the females do not.  The males actually hold a stronger correlation in completing high school rather than no schooling.  Apart from Otisville, I was surprised seeing that New Hampton (my hometown) has one of the lowest populations for adult males not receiving a high school diploma, which probably is because it is also the home of the Mid-Hudson Psychiatric center.  Because of mental illness, probably a lot of the individuals were not able to receive/finalize their high school education.
