With the proposal of steps given and the contributions of individual efforts, there should be a strong fight against AIDS within these problematic areas of Manhattan. Resources may be a difficult task to produce but with the willingness and involvement of the community at large, obstacles impeding progress can be minimized. As presented in the articles, there needs to be a mutual understanding between all of the organizations involved, whether that is the health clinics or the Black Church about the impact of the HIV/AIDS crisis and the views of various individuals. There are definitely cultural barriers that cause the resistance to methods of treatment but the realization of being culturally and socially mindful will allow individuals to acknowledge the benefits of these tactics. The foundation provided by these processes will in effect reduce the high incidence of HIV/AIDS in Manhattan overall.
