FIRST COMES HIV THEN COMES AIDS:
My Personal Reaction Getting the news that one is HIV positive can destroy a person’s character. They might start thinking my life is over; I will never again be the same. I think that I would react that way if I were told I was HIV positive. By researching and obtaining data on the amount of people in the United States with HIV I realized that there might be almost a million people out there that might have had that reaction. In my AIDS class I had to come up with the amount of people in my zip code that I thought had HIV and I came up with a figure that I thought was too high, but may be just right of 2500 people. The reality was that in my area there were a total of 2176 people with HIV and that my estimate wasn’t at all exaggerated. |
This is my home ... The Yankee Stadium is what I see everyday when I am going home and when I go anywhere else...Since it is right next to the 4-train which is a major way of transportation to me. |
