Overall, HIV/AIDS is something that has impacted my life dramatically by means of my father and the city of Shaker Heights. The support of the media in these two influences has also shown great importance. This assignment reinforced my belief that HIV/AIDS awareness is everyone’s responsibility.  Even though I consider my HIV/AIDS awareness IQ to be high, this project made me realize that there is still much more to learn about how HIV/AIDS affects my hometown and how it relates to other geographic areas.
