Colgate's Teacher Education Claims

Colgate University makes eight claims about students in the teacher education program. I have listed these claims below; please click on each claim to see how I my work and personal practices substantiate these assertions.

3. have a solid understanding of the relevance of educational research to teaching;

5. am a reflective practitioner who creates and manages effective learning environments;

6. am committed to the principles of social justice;

7. use appropriate assessments to guide instruction and develop a fluid and reflective relationship between assessment and instruction;

8. am active in the professional community.
