I don't think I need to remind you how important this decision is for the future of this
company. Keller Securities has been a leader in cloning research since 1990 when we underwrote
some of the initial research that led to the cloning of the sheep "Dolly" in the U.K. in 1996.
Let's not forget that in 1997, The Lost World (sequel to the blockbuster movie Jurassic Park)
brought in a staggering amount of money per hour on opening week-end, and the T. rex dinosaur
named "Sue" was auctioned for a record amount - these are figures you can research and present
in court. I think it's clear that we cannot afford to miss this opportunity to capitalize on
the money we would make should dinosaurs be cloned! Everyone loves dinosaurs so here's our
chance to make a fortune. How can we convince the Judges that this will be the ultimate
fantasy? Building a time machine for travel into the past is just so 1990s; let's contemplate
how and why we should bring the past to the present! I'm allocating r&d funds so that you, as
investors, can develop realistic ideas about what kinds of investments might be feasible in the
short- and long-term. Be prepared to present your research on what the initial investment might
entail and how that money would (presumably) be incidental when compared to the projected return
on costs. Also make sure you investigate how and in what specific ways the local economy might
benefit from our capital projects. You'll need to keep in mind that cloned dinosaurs will be
living, breathing animals; please be sure to reassure the Judges about any concerns they might
have. And let's be frank, whatever the concern, you can certainly marshal some real data about
your investment strategies. I have compiled a short list of resources you might find useful.
I don't care what you argue from an investment standpoint so long as you convince those Judges
that dinosaur cloning should take place because of the enormous economic benefits!
I'll be waiting for your report,
D. Keller, CEO Keller Securities
