Abstention

Get Tested for HIV and know your partners status as well

Learn about your partners past sexual history

Use a latex condom and lubricant every time you have sex

Did you know…

 That past exposure to STD’s such as gonorrhea, syphilis, or Chlamydia can increase your risk of getting HIV? (11)

Also   the urban myth of douching after sex will NOT protect you from HIV. In fact it removes some of your bodies’ natural protection (3)
